7 of our members; Evie Higgon, Paige Mellor, Benjamin Whiteman, Faye Manning ( Kiryoku member), Isla Scott and Abbie Sutton were all part of the Karate England training session on Sunday the 9th September.

To be chosen for the actual competition squad the selectors have to take into account, previous competition results and what they see at these training sessions. To be invited to the training sessions is a huge compliment.

At a meeting during the course of the day, Sensei Wilson was appointed to the Karate England coaching team along with Sensei Andrea Higgon who will be an assistant Kata coach.
