WUMA European Championships, Cheltenham

The team travelled to the WUMA European Championships in Cheltenham on Sunday with a strong squad made up of Jack, Lewis, Mayzie, Bruce, Carter, Dominik and Bailey, alongside Head Kickboxing Coach Paul, Sensei Wilson and Coach Tyrone.

Competing across both kickboxing and boxing categories, the squad delivered an outstanding performance, bringing home an impressive total of 12 medals:

5 Gold

6 Silver

1 Bronze

This was a fantastic achievement for a squad of just eight competitors, showing the hard work, dedication and determination that continues to grow within the club. Head Coach Paul also stepped back into competition for the day and added to the success with one of the squad’s gold medals.

The results helped the centre finish as the 5th highest ranking club in the overall medal table for the event, a brilliant accomplishment against strong competition.

A huge well done to everyone involved throughout the day - fighters, coaches, parents and supporters, whose effort, commitment and support all played a part in the team’s success.
