Day one - Kata day;

Bronze for Evie!! After a very busy morning and several hard rounds, Evie won an excellent Bronze medal in one of the 'big 3' Karate events. In her last 3 events Evie has medalled, including a Silver in the England Championships, cementing her place as 1 of the top Kata girls in the country - Well done Evie!

Paige Mellor made 4th place in Black belt Kata cadets, only missing out on Bronze by 2/10 of a point!

Adrian & Abbie made the pairs Kata final having been thrown together as a pair only that morning!!

Day two - Kumite;

Gold!!! With a Gold in Kumite at the FEKO event in February, a repeat performance by the excellent Abbie Sutton brings her another Gold at these AMA International Championships - well done that girl!! Abbie beat 2 England Internationals amongst her individual Gold medal today. 4 rounds of excellent fighting - Well done Abbie!

AND WHAT A SUPERB FINISH TO THE WEEKEND;

Our girls team win the Cadet team trophy - fantastic achievement and a really, really great result for our girls. This was the first time they have ever entered as a team! Go girls, go!

In his capacity as a Karate England Coach, Sensei Wilson felt it a real pleasure to help Stacey, Poppy and Holly too - Podium girl power!!

Karate England won the trophies for the most successful squad at the Championships!! The TMAC squad is now firmly established as amongst the best in the country on a consistent basis. - Well done Karate England!!

A big well done to Team TMAC!!
