Team TMAC had a fantastic day of competition at the championships on Sunday 15 February, with fighters, coaches and officials all representing the club with pride.

Coach and competitor Paul Macarthur delivered an excellent, controlled performance to secure Gold and the title of British Champion. Alongside competing, he also officiated at the event, highlighting the club’s strong presence both on and off the mats.

In the novice divisions, Carter had an outstanding tournament, earning Silver overall and also becoming British Champion in the Novice section, a brilliant achievement.

Dominic fought well to take home Bronze, while Bailey showed determination despite it not being his day in the results; the squad demonstrated great teamwork and support throughout.

The event also marked a proud moment for Sensei Wilson, who was officially presented with his WUMA referee certification and handbook during the championships in Gloucester.

Congratulations to the whole TMAC squad for their performances, sportsmanship and team spirit.

Next stop: European Championships in May 2026!
